Subscriptions and correspondence

Subscribing provides us with your email address, subscription status and confirmation records. We use these to deliver the weekly blog digest when new posts are available and to manage your subscription. Email subscriptions are voluntary and based on your consent. Every digest includes an unsubscribe link.

The contact page opens your email application. Sending a message shares your email address and whatever information you include with us through Proton Mail. We use that information to answer and follow up on your enquiry. Please include only the information needed for your message.

Website operation and service providers

The website runs on WordPress and is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM. MailPoet manages newsletter subscriptions within WordPress. Proton Mail provides our correspondence mailbox. Hosting and security systems may record IP addresses, browser information, request times and requested pages to operate the site, investigate errors and protect against misuse. We process necessary operational records for our legitimate interest in keeping the site functional and secure.

We do not sell personal data. Providers process information as needed for their services; their processing locations and transfer safeguards depend on their applicable terms and privacy notices. Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it.

Cookies and external content

WordPress uses cookies for administrator sign-in, and the consent tools may remember your privacy choices. A regular visitor does not need an account. External links take you to other services with their own privacy policies. Embedded media, where present, may allow the media provider to receive your IP address and browser details when it loads. You can also control cookies in your browser.

Retention and your choices

Subscription records are held while needed to manage the subscription. After unsubscribing, limited records may remain where needed to honour your opt-out or document consent. Correspondence is kept for the time needed to resolve and follow up on the matter; operational logs and backups follow the relevant provider’s retention practices.

To request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, withdraw consent, object to processing, or request portability where applicable, email that-zesty-lemon@proton.me. You can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. This policy will be updated when the site or its services change.
