Putin Gets Paid. Ukraine Gets Blamed. Trump Wants a Fucking Medal.

2 views · Counting since 7 Oct 2026

Satirical cartoon: Trump demands a peace medal while Putin counts cash, Musk applauds, and Zelensky stands beside a ruined Ukrainian city.

Donald Trump has once again failed to win the Nobel Peace Prize.

Apparently, the committee remains stubbornly attached to the idea that you should contribute to peace before receiving a trophy for it. Terrible customer service. Has anyone tried threatening Norway?

Then came Trump’s diesel deal with Putin.

No, the timing does not prove one caused the other. But what a fucking double feature: complain that the world refuses to recognise your contribution to peace, then announce an economic opening for the man invading his neighbour.

The Nobel committee said no. The Kremlin’s accounts department said thank you.

Trump announced an initial shipment of more than 300,000 tons of Russian diesel for American and global markets, with additional deliveries promised.

Let’s put the opening number through that obscure socialist instrument: a calculator.

If we use a consumption assumption of 500,000 tons a day, 300,000 tons would cover 14 hours and 24 minutes. That is a conditional comparison, not a verified measurement of current US daily consumption.

And that assumes America gets every drop, despite the announcement explicitly including global markets.

Fourteen hours.

That is not an energy strategy. That is a fucking layover.

On that assumption, America could start burning through its grand presidential rescue at breakfast and run out before the evening news finished explaining how historic it was.

Putin gets an economic opening. Trump gets a headline. America gets enough diesel to briefly admire the headline.

Yes, further shipments were announced. Promised deliveries matter. So do actual deliveries. You don’t fill a truck with the phrase “immediately thereafter.”

And diesel is not petrol. A fuel announcement is not a guarantee that the price at your local pump will fall. There is an entire market between Trump’s mouth and your receipt, and it does not accept self-congratulation as payment.

But the sales pitch is familiar.

Take a number.

Remove the context.

Say “tremendous.”

Wait for someone on television to call it leadership.

Then came the part that should make anyone with a functioning sense of shame choke on their coffee.

Trump called for Ukraine to get a new president, while criticising Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries.

Russia invades Ukraine.

Ukraine fights back.

Ukraine attacks infrastructure in the country invading it.

Trump gets upset about the fuel supply.

The burning country has become a customer-service problem for the country doing the burning.

Imagine a man breaks into your house and starts beating your family.

You hit him back.

Then some orange prick from the neighbourhood association tells you to stop because the attacker owns the petrol station and you’re upsetting his opening hours.

Perhaps you should replace yourself with someone more willing to negotiate.

Someone reasonable.

Someone who understands that surrender is simply peace with fewer administrative difficulties.

What the fuck is Ukraine supposed to do? Defend itself only during periods of low seasonal demand?

“Sorry, Vladimir. We’ll resume resistance once the harvest is in.”

That dialogue is invented. The grotesque reversal of responsibility is the point.

Putin started the invasion. Yet somehow the discussion keeps drifting toward how irritating Zelensky is being about having a country.

The aggressor gets a commercial opportunity. The invaded country gets a performance review.

And then Elon Musk chimed in, backing Trump’s criticism and declaring that Zelensky had “gone too far.”

Of course he fucking did.

A conversation about the survival of a sovereign country apparently needed input from a billionaire who approaches disagreement like a defective product feature.

Gone too far?

Russia crossed the border. But sure, let’s discuss whether the Ukrainian president has exceeded the recommended daily allowance of resistance.

Thank God the world’s richest reply guy arrived to clarify which participant in an invasion was being difficult.

Have robots taken over American politics?

I’m starting to think that would be the more reassuring explanation.

A robot might have a fault.

A fault might have a fix.

These men keep watching the same war and arriving at the conclusion that the victim needs to improve his attitude.

Try asking a machine to identify the aggressor. It might consult the evidence.

Ask this political circus and it apparently checks who is selling diesel.

There are legitimate questions about sanctions, fuel supplies and ending the war. None of them require treating Putin’s revenue as an emergency and Ukraine’s sovereignty as a fucking inconvenience.

But here we are.

Trump wants recognition for peace.

Putin gets room to sell fuel.

Zelensky gets told to leave.

Musk supplies the applause.

What a magnificent peace process. Everybody gets something except the people being bombed.

Maybe the Nobel committee should create a consolation prize.

Services to Making the Invader Comfortable.

No medal.

Just a fuel receipt and a mirror.

Let them decide which one they can bear to look at.

Satirical commentary. Imagined dialogue and the cartoon are fictional. The 14-hour comparison is conditional on a 500,000-ton-per-day consumption assumption and on the entire initial shipment going to the US; it excludes announced later deliveries.
